Ontario Reign Add Forward Cory Ward

Ontario, CA - The Ontario Reign, proud American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL), announced today the addition of forward Cory Ward under a professional tryout agreement.
Ward, 24, has 12 points (five goals, seven assists) in 14 games with the Manchester Monarchs (ECHL) this season and attended training camp with the Reign last season. The Las Vegas, Nevada, native also dressed with the Monarchs last season for his first professional campaign totaling 37 points (16 goals, 21 assists) in 68 games.
Prior to turning professional, Ward attended Bemidji State University for four seasons registering 80 points (45 goals, 35 assists) in 151 games.
The Reign continue a three-game road trip this weekend as they visit the San Jose Barracuda at SAP Center on Saturday, November 18 at 1:15 p.m. and Sunday, November 19 at 3:00 p.m. Watch the Reign Pregame Show and tune in to the action at Facebook.com/OntarioReign !
