
COLORADO AVALANCHE RECALL FORWARD DOMINIC TONINATO FROM SAN ANTONIO

SAN ANTONIO - The Colorado Avalanche today announced that forward Dominic Toninato has been recalled from the San Antonio Rampage.
Toninato's first-ever call-up to the NHL serves as Colorado's seventh recall from San Antonio this season. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound forward made his professional debut with the Rampage on Oct. 7 vs. the Ontario Reign and has registered six points (3g/3a) in 13 contests with the club. Toninato spent the previous four seasons with the University of Minnesota-Duluth, totaling 91 points (54g/37a) in 151 games with the Bulldogs. Originally drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the fifth round of the 2012 NHL Draft (126th overall), Toninato will join former Rampage players Gabriel Borque, Andrei Mironov, Vladislav Kamenev, J.T. Compher, Chris Bigras, Anton Lindholm, Nikita Zadorov, and Mikko Rantanen in Colorado.
The Rampage return to the Alamo City on Saturday, Nov. 18 for a 7 p.m. contest against the Texas Stars at the AT&T Center.
