ONTARIO, CA - The Ontario Reign and the Hope Reigns Foundation will hold their annual 5K Walk & Run event on Saturday, March 30 at 8:00 a.m. at Citizens Business Bank Arena.
The 5K Walk & Run, presented by San Antonio Regional Hospital, is $35 for Reign ALL-IN Members and $50 for all other participants, with the latter also including a ticket to the Reign home game the following afternoon. All participants will receive entry to the race, a race medal, a reusable bag, access to Vendor Village and breakfast at the race.
This season's event will benefit Athlete's vs. Crohn's & Colitis, a charity that Reign forward Mikey Eyssimont, who has Crohn's Disease, is affiliated with. The foundation was created by Cleveland Cavaliers forward Larry Nance Jr., who also has Crohn's.
"I think it's great, his foundation, what they do," Eyssimont said. "I'm excited for whatever I can do to help promote his foundation and make some money for it. I'm happy to use my platform that I have to reach out to however many kids or people that I can."
