Flames Assign Michael Stone to Stockton on Conditioning Assignment

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Flames announced today that they have assigned defenseman, Michael Stone to the Stockton Heat of the American Hockey League on a conditioning assignment.

Stone, a native of Winnipeg, Manitoba has been sidelined since November 23rd with a blood clot. The 28-year-old has played in 11 games for the Flames this season notching four assists and eight penalty minutes. Stone played in all 82 games for the Flames a season ago scoring three goals and notching seven assists for ten points.
