Appleby Reassigned to Jacksonville

Winnipeg - The Manitoba Moose Hockey Club announced today the Winnipeg Jets have reassigned goaltender Ken Appleby from the Moose to the organization's ECHL affiliate, the Jacksonville Icemen.

Appleby, 23, has made eight appearances with Manitoba this season while posting a 1-6-0 record, alongside a 4.59 goals-against average and a 0.865 save percentage. The North Bay, Ont. product has played in 10 games with Jacksonville, going 4-5-0 with a 2.60 goals-against average and a 0.926 save percentage.

The Moose host the Rockford IceHogs for a pair of important games at Bell MTS Place this weekend with both teams battling for a playoff spot. Puck drop for Saturday's Autism Awareness game is 6 p.m. CT, with the rematch on Sunday at 2 p.m. CT. Tickets are available at moosehockey.com/tickets.
