OMAHA, NE - The Omaha Royals return to Rosenblatt Stadium this Thursday, June 5th, opening their last homestand until late June. The Royals host the Iowa Cubs in a four-game series through Sunday, before embarking on their annual, 16-game College World Series road trip. The homestand is highlighted by a Mike Sweeney statue giveaway and the ZOOperstars! performing on Saturday night. Here's a rundown of all the upcoming promotions:

Thursday, June 5, 7:05 p.m.: It's Thirsty Thursday with $1 beer and Cokes during the game, brought to you by 96.1 The Brew, Action 3 News and The City Weekly! Also, courtesy of Two Fine Irishmen: the 1st 1,000 fans receive a FREE koozie and all fans are invited to stay after the game to enjoy the live music of The Whipkey Three!

Friday, June 6, 7:05 p.m.: NAIFA Fireworks follow the game, plus the world-renowned Bucket Boys perform live during the contest, brought to you by infoUSA! The evening is also presented by KAT 103, KETV and The City Weekly.

Saturday, June 7, 7:05 p.m.: Gates open at 5:00 p.m. and the 1st 1,500 fans will receive a Mike Sweeney statue, courtesy of Bellevue University. Prior to this season, Sweeney was selected by Royals fans in an online poll at www.oroyals.com as their favorite Omaha Royals player of the 1990's. Plus, the ZOOperstars! perform during the game, presented by PayPal. Royals players and coaches will also put on a FREE youth clinic starting at 3:30 p.m. on field at Rosenblatt. Sunday, June 8, 1:35 p.m.: The homestand finale is Lockheed Martin Military Appreciation Day. All active members of the military get a buy one-get-one-free ticket to the game, good for all levels of seating. Also courtesy of Lockheed Martin, the 1st 1,000 fans will receive a Frank White jersey-backpack (it's a backpack that looks like the Royals Hall-of-Famer's #20 jersey)! It's U.S. Bank Family FUNday, with clowns, face painting and balloon art, plus all kids are invited to run the bases after the game, also presented by KGBI-100.7 FM and KPTM-Fox 42. All Royals Kids Club members receive a FREE ticket to the game, courtesy of SUBWAY! Plus, any fan bringing an Our Family Brand food item to the stadium gets a FREE General Admission ticket to the contest!
