
UIL Kicks Off 12-Game State Championship Set at The Dell Diamond

ROUND ROCK - The Round Rock Express will take Wednesday off before hitting the road for eight games, but The Dell Diamond won't see much rest.
The University Interscholastic League will take up residence in the stadium's confines beginning with the Class 2A semifinals Wednesday and wrapping up with the Class 1A and Class 5A State Championships on Saturday.
Day passes are $5 for students and $10 for adults with all-tournament passes available for $30. Parking at The Dell Diamond is $5.
Salado will welcome San Angelo Grape Creek in the first of 12 games Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in the Class 2A semifinal opener. Class 2A and Class 4A semifinals will wrap up at 7:00 p.m. and both championships will be held Thursday.
Class 1A and Class 5A semifinals will kick off Friday at 10:00 a.m. with Flatonia taking on Seymour in the Class 1A opener. In the Class 5A championship berth game, Plano West will face Laredo United and Houston Bellaire will face Southlake Carroll. Both championships will take place Saturday.
