ROBERTS STREAK ROLLS ON:
Ryan Roberts singled in the ninth inning last night to extend his current hitting streak to 11 games, the fourth longest streak this season by any RedHawk. The RedHawks infielder also has a ten game streak in May. Roberts is batting .364 during this recent stretch that dates back to August 4.

The southpaw has a 1-1 mark at AT&T Bricktown Ballpark with a 4.50 ERA over three starts while going 0-2 with a 27.00 earned run average on the road. The 24 year-old has allowed at least two earned runs in each of his previous five Triple-A starts and at least one earned run in 22 of his 23 combined appearances this season between the RoughRiders and RedHawks.
WITHOUT CRUZ:
Oklahoma dropped to 13-17 in games when Nelson Cruz is not in the starting lineup. Cruz is on the RedHawks disabled list with a strained left quad. The outfielder is still among the Minor League leaders in several major offensive categories, including home runs (2nd), runs batted in (tied for 4th), and runs scored (tied for 3rd), despite having not played since August 1. The RedHawks are 5-8 since Cruz was placed on the disabled list.

Omaha is 20.5 games behind Iowa in the American North... The Royals have gone 13-33 since splitting back-to-back doubleheaders against the RedHawks at Rosenblatt Stadium on June 28 and June 29... Omaha is one of three clubs with a total of four wins this month, matching Las Vegas and Memphis. No PCL club has more losses than the Royals 11 August defeats... Omaha has the league's seventh best team earned run average, but also sports the league's 13th best batting average.
