SALT LAKE CITY (August 16, 2008) - The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim announced today that the club has recalled infielder Kendry Morales from Triple-A Salt Lake.

Morales, 24, has appeared in 70 games for the Bees in 2008, hitting .338 with 16 doubles, 14 home runs and 58 RBI. He has appeared in one game for the Angels this season. Originally signed by the Halos in 2004, the Cuban native hit .294 with four home runs and 15 RBI in 43 games for the Angels in 2007.
