Today's call-up marks the second stint with the Astros for House, who also appeared for Houston in four games in 2006. House, 28, is batting .303 with 17 homeruns and 55 RBI for Round Rock. He has appeared in 119 games for the Express, including 69 starts at first base and 36 starts at catcher.
House has appeared in parts four Major League seasons (2003-04, 2006-07), compiling a .175 batting average with three homers and three RBI in 57 at-bats. A non-roster invitee to Major League Spring training, House hit .176 with one home run and four RBI for the Astros this spring.
