LAST GAME: Oklahoma squandered a 3-0 lead and Salt Lake held on for a 9-8 win. The Bees knocked five home runs in the win, including a pair of two-run home runs by Ben Johnson. Kaz Fukumori allowed the final blow, Sean Rodriguez's second solo home run of the game, in the home half of the seventh inning. Fukumori dropped to 0-4 this season for Oklahoma. Matt Wilhite earned the win, and Jason Bulger picked up his 11th save.

FIVE DEEP:

Oklahoma allowed five home runs in last night's loss, the most the RedHawks have surrendered in a single game this season. The five home runs were also the most hit by Salt Lake in any one game this year. Brian Gordon allowed three of the five blasts, matching the most any RedHawks pitcher has allowed in 2008. Elizardo Ramirez allowed three twice, including Wednesday night in Oklahoma's win over Salt Lake. Steve Rowe and current Ranger Eric Hurley also allowed three home runs in a game.

TRIPLES PILE UP:

Chris Shelton became the 16th different player to triple for the RedHawks this season with his three-base hit in the first inning last night. Oklahoma leads the PCL with 46 triples, one shy of Louisville for the Triple-A lead. Joaquin Arias lead off the game with his ninth triple of the year, the second-best single season output in RedHawks history. Arias holds the club record with 10 triples during the 2006 season.

STREAK STOPPED:

Brian Gordon's streak of consecutive innings with out allowing an earned run was snapped last night when Brandon Wood hit a home run with no one out in the second inning last night. Gordon had gone 18.2 straight innings without allowing an earned run, dating back to his start on July 8 against Albuquerque.

ERRORS ADD ON:

The error charged to Joaquin Arias in the second inning was Oklahoma's 93 of the season, fourth most in the PCL. The RedHawks committed 103 errors in 2007, second fewest in the league. Arias has now committed 15 errors this season, one behind Ryan Roberts. Desi Relaford committed a team high 18 errors last season.

REDHAWK HOME RUN KING:

Nelson Cruz became the RedHawks all-time, single season home run leader on July 19 with a three home run game. Cruz's 34 home runs are the third-most single season tally in Oklahoma City Triple-A history, matching Chuck Harrison and Jim Beauchamp's single-season marks in 1965 and 1964, respectively. Dave Roberts is Oklahoma's all-time Triple-A leader after hitting 38 in 1965.

SALT LAKE AT A GLANCE:

Shane Loux has pitched more innings in the PCL this season than any other player... Last night's win helped the Bees move to .500 during July with an 11-11 mark... Brandon Wood has a 16 game on-base streak dating back to July 7, while Freddy Sandoval has a 15 game on-base streak going back to July 8... Jason Bulger has notched 11 of the Bees 14 saves this season.

AROUND THE ORGANIZATION:

Texas had the night off and opens a three-game series in Oakland tonight... Frisco beat Midland 6-2... Bakersfield fell at San Jose 5-1... Clinton doubled up Great Lakes 4-2... Spokane lost 1-0 to Salem-Keizer in ten innings.

DOT-DOT-DOT:

Gerald Laird is hitless during his three games with the rehabs on rehab, but has driven in a pair of runs on sacrifice flies. Laird caught the entire game last night, after catching five and seven innings Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively.
