The Colorado Sky Sox used three pitchers to hold the Zephyrs offense down and then erupted for 5 runs in the eighth inning to defeat the Zephyrs 6-1 on Friday night in Colorado Springs. The Sox won three of four games in the series against the Zephyrs. Colorado Springs scored a run in the third inning to take a 1-0 lead. The Zephyrs had multiple opportunities in the game, leaving 11 men on base. Franklin Morales pitched into the seventh inning to earn the win. Zephyr starter Ruddy Lugo pitched seven and a third innings and allowed just two runs when he exited the game with the bases loaded. Z's reliever Eddie Camacho entered and allowed a grand slam home run off the bat of Jeff Dragicevich to blow the game open. Lugo allowed one run through seven before the rough eighth inning had him on the line for five earned runs and the loss. The Z's scored their lone run in the bottom of the ninth.

Game Notes: The Zephyrs have added reliever Eddie Camacho from Double-A Binghamton, bringing the number of pitchers on the squad to 11 ... The southpaw led all B-Met relievers with 67.1 innings in 37 appearances this year ... In a corresponding move, outfielder Josh Petersen was sent to Binghamton ... Petersen was 3x15 (.200) with three RBI in nine games with the Zephyrs....... Pascucci extended his consecutive road games on-base streak to 28 dating back to May 22nd, the longest in the PCL this season ... The previous best was 25 by Tucson's Wilkin Castillo from April 30-July 4 ... In the 28games, Pascucci is 38x99 with 19 walks, giving him an on-base percentage of .491.... Coming Up: The Zephyrs and Salt Lake Bees will meet in the first game of the four game set on Saturday night with a 8:05 start.
