LAST GAME: Oklahoma scored seven times over the first two innings and beat New Orleans 7-3 Sunday evening. Chris Davis and Taylor Teagarden hit two-run home runs to lead the offense and back Luis Mendoza. The right-handed pitcher was sharp over seven innings, allowing one earned run while striking out five in his longest outing at any level since April 7 when he pitched seven and a third against Nashville in a win. Eight of the nine RedHawk batter reach by base hit, seven of which occurred over the first two innings.

THIEF:

Joaquin Arias stole two bases in the first inning last night and took control of the league lead in the category, one ahead of Fresno's Ivan Ochoa. Brett Gardner of the International League's Scranton/ Wilkes-Barre leads Triple-A with 25 steals. DAVIS CONTINUES DOMINANCE: Chris Davis extended his hitting streak to 11 games with a first inning home run in last night's win. Davis has now reached base in 19 straight games dating back to game May 28, and has been on safely in 20 of the 22 games he has played for Oklahoma since his promotion from Frisco on May 25.

NOTHING FREE:

RedHawks pitchers did not walk a batter in last night's win, the eighth time they have accomplished the feat this season, but the first time since May 20 against New Orleans at the Brick. Oklahoma is 6-2 in games where their pitchers do not

TOP OF THE ORDER TREND:

All five hitters at the top of the order last night extended some sort of streak. Jason Ellison is now on a six-game hitting streak and has reached safely in 19 straight home games. Joaquin Arias has hits in ten consecutive games. John Mayberry has a seven-game hitting streak and a seven-game RBI streak, Chris Davis extended his hitting streak to 11 games, and Ryan Roberts has reached base safely in 21 straight home games. All of this without Nelson Cruz, a fixture batting third this season, who missed the game due to injury, but has also reached by base hit in ten straight home games.

NEW ORLEANS AT A GLANCE:

Ruddy Lugo's ERA against the RedHawks jumped from 8.10 to 9.60 this season, and Lugo dropped to 0-3 against Oklahoma... Robinson Cancel, who was recently recalled by the Mets, drove in the winning runs in game two of yesterday's Texas-New York doubleheader. Cancel, who hit .333 for the Zephyrs over five games, pinch hit for Pedro Martinez and singled with the bases loaded off Kason Gabbard.

AROUND THE ORGANIZATION:

Texas split a doubleheader with the New York Mets, winning 8-7 and losing 4-2... Frisco lost 11-3 to Corpus Christi... Bakersfield walked off with a 3-2, ten inning win over San Jose... Clinton lost to Wisconsin 6-3.

DOT-DOT-DOT:

Chris Davis has combined to drive in 60 runs this season between Frisco and Oklahoma, the fifth highest tally in the minor leagues... Steve Rowe is slated to make his sixth start of the season tomorrow night in Nashville. Rowe steps in to the rotation as Oklahoma recovers from five games in four days... Nelson Cruz missed his second straight game yesterday with a slight triceps strain...

TIME CHANGE:

The RedHawks have announced a time change that differs from what is listed on pocket schedules and previously printed tickets. Oklahoma's game with Round Rock on Monday, June 23 at AT&T Bricktown Ballpark is now a 7:05 pm first pitch.
