
Beavers aid in Myanmar efforts

PORTLAND, Ore. - The Portland Beavers return home from their longest road trip of the season to play host to a four-game series against the Tucson Sidewinders starting Tuesday at PGE Park. The homestand against Tucson features a special night as the Beavers host a fundraising event for relief efforts in the country of Myanmar.
On Wednesday, the Beavers team up with KGW and Medical Teams International (MTI) to support relief efforts for cyclone victims in Myanmar. To help raise funds, MTI will be at PGE Park to collect donations and the Beavers will donate half of the pre-sale ticket funds as well as a portion of the night's proceeds to MTI.
Fans can show their true colors on College Night on a Miller Lite Thursday at PGE Park. Those representing their alma mater can save up to $2 on tickets purchased at the PGE Park box office on Thursday to watch the Beavers take on the Sidewinders. To take advantage of this special offer, fans must wear a t-shirt displaying the logo of their college at the PGE Park box office. Thursday's game will be broadcast live on FSN.
Tickets for the Beavers' homestand against Tucson, the Triple-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks, are available through the PGE Park box office, area Ticketmaster outlets, online at www.ticketmaster.com or by phone at (503) 224-4400. Wednesday, June 18 Myanmar Relief Night - Beavers vs. Tucson - 7:05 p.m. The Beavers team up with KGW and Medical Teams International to raise funds for relief efforts in the Asian country of Myanmar to assist families and victims of the cyclones. MTI will be on site to collect donations and the Beavers will contribute a portion of ticket sales to the relief efforts.
Thursday, June 19 College Night / Miller Lite Thursday - Beavers vs. Tucson - 7:05 p.m. Whether a Duck or an Oregon State Beaver or anything in between, show your school pride on College Night at PGE Park as the Beavers square off against the Sidewinders. Fans representing their alma mater on a Miller Lite Thursday can save up to $2 off the single-game ticket price ($2 off Infield Reserved, $1 off Outfield Reserved and GA). Offer good at PGE Park box office only. Re-live your college days with a pong tournament on the Fred Meyer Party Deck during the game.
Friday, June 20 ALS Night / Comcast Family Feast Friday - Beavers vs. Tucson - 7:05 p.m. The Beavers wrap up a four-game set with the Sidewinders on ALS Night on a Comcast Family Feast Friday presented by Zenner's. Throughout the night, a variety of discounted concession items will be available including $1 hot dogs, Dasani water and desserts.
