TODAY'S OPPONENT: The Albuquerque Isotopes are the Triple-A affiliate of the Florida Marlins. They have been a member of the Pacific Coast League since 2003 when they moved from Calgary. Last year, Isotopes finished fourth in the American South Division with a 70-72 record.

TODAY'S GAME: This is game 27 of the season. It's the final game of a four-game series and the fourth of 15 meetings between Oklahoma and Albuquerque this season.

LAST GAME: RedHawks got back into win column with a 4-3 victory. Miguel Ojeda's walk-off single in the ninth was the difference. John Koronka pitched his third straight quality start, allowing three runs on nine hits in seven innings. Steve Rowe (2-0) pitched a scoreless eighth and ninth for the win.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Francisco Cruceta makes his fifth start of the season for the RedHawks. In his last start 4/26 vs. New Orleans, he earned a no-decision in an 11-3 Oklahoma win. He allowed three runs on five hits. Last season with Tacoma, he allowed one run on seven hits with eight strikeouts in a no-decision against Isotopes. Former RedHawk Ricardo Rodriguez takes the hill for the Isotopes. Last season, he beat the RedHawks, going seven scoreless innings in a 4-0 combined shutout for Memphis Aug. 15.

FINALE WOES: The RedHawks are 0-6 in the final game of a series this season. They lost 7-0 to New Orleans to finish the last series.

THREE'S THE LIMIT: The RedHawks avoided their first four-game losing streak with win yesterday. Three times they have lost three straight only to win the next game.

THE BIG HIT: Ojeda's hit in the ninth was the second time this season the RedHawks won in walk-off fashion. The 'Hawks have started to hit with runners in scoring position. In the last 11 games they are hitting .358 (34-95) with RISP. They had only 22 hits with RISP through the first 15 games of season. For the season, they are hitting .249 (56-225) with RISP. Jason Botts leads the team with nine hits and 14 RBIs with RISP.

TUG HULETT: Tug Hulett has reached base in 17 consecutive games dating to April 8. He walked and scored a run yesterday. Since taking over the starter's job at second base last week at Round Rock, Hulett has hit safely in seven of nine games, going 14-for-29 with one homer, five RBIs and eight runs scored.

STEVE ROWE: Steve Rowe pitched two more scoreless innings yesterday for his second win. For the season, he hasn't allowed a run in 10.2 innings. He has allowed five hits with five strikeouts and three walks.

BRICKTOWN SHOWDOWN: The Triple-A Championship Game will be held Sept. 18 at AT&T Bricktown Ballpark. It will feature the champions from the PCL and IL.

DOT-DOT-DOT: Yesterday's win was only the second time this season the RedHawks won when being outhit. The Isotopes had 11 hits to the RedHawks' seven ...The RedHawks win yesterday means they have won at least one game on every day of the week ... Kevin West's homer yesterday helped the RedHawks get out of the bottom of the PCL for fewest homers. They now have 12 as a team ... RedHawk pitchers have allowed the fewest hits in the PCL this season with 195 ... Koronka leads the league with 35.2 innings pitched ... Hulett is third with a .479 on-base percentage ... Freddy Guzman is fifth with eight stolen bases ... Drew Meyer has a seven-game hitting streak.
