
RedHawks win wild one at The Brick

The RedHawks scored two runs in the eighth on their way to a 7-6 win over Albuquerque Thursday night at AT&T Bricktown Ballpark. The game saw five lead changes with the RedHawks walking nine Isotopes and committing four errors, while the Isotopes left 11 runners on base.
Guillermo Quiroz's RBI single tied the game at 6-6 and three batters later Marlon Byrd worked a bases-loaded walk to give the RedHawks their first series finale win of the season. Oklahoma (14-13) and Albuquerque (13-14) split the four-game series.
RedHawk starter Francisco Cruceta went five innings and allowed four runs (three earned) on three hits, six walks and seven strikeouts. Franklyn German (1-1) pitched two scoreless innings for the win.
Ricardo Rodriguez lasted 5.2 innings for the Isotopes, he allowed five runs on 10 hits. Roy Corcoran (1-2) blew his third save of the season and took the loss for Albuquerque.
Oklahoma plays Omaha at 7:05 CDT Friday night at AT&T Bricktown Ballpark, and Albuquerque travels to Memphis for a 7:10 CDT game.
