Today's Game: The Oklahoma City Dodgers continue their homestand and open a four-game series against the Memphis Redbirds at 7:05 p.m. at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. The Dodgers are 15-1 in Bricktown to start the season after the second-longest home winning streak since the ballpark opened in 1998 was snapped with a loss to Colorado Springs Monday afternoon.

Last Game: The Dodgers scored three runs in the bottom of the ninth inning, but were unable to complete another late comeback as Colorado Springs won, 5-3, Monday afternoon at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. The Sky Sox built a 4-0 lead in the second inning and a 5-0 lead in the seventh inning in front of a sellout crowd of 11,284. Sky Sox starting pitcher Freddy Peralta (5-1) retired the first 10 Oklahoma City batters he faced before issuing two walks in the fourth inning. Peralta went on to earn the win, allowing just two hits with three walks and eight strikeouts. Trailing, 5-0, the Dodgers put together a rally in the bottom of the ninth inning. Danny Espinosa led off with a single. Rocky Gale followed with his game-high third hit of the afternoon to put two runners on. A pair of forceouts at second base followed for the first two outs, but allowed Espinosa to score. Jake Peter followed with a RBI knock to cut Colorado Springs' lead to 5-2 with two outs. Donovan Solano's RBI single cut the Colorado Springs' lead to two runs. With the tying run at the plate, Sky Sox reliever Tristan Archer struck out Rob Segedin to end the game. Dodgers starting pitcher Tyler Pill (0-1) was charged with the loss, allowing four runs and six hits with one walk and two strikeouts.

Today's Probable Pitcher: Guillermo Moscoso (1-0) returns to the mound for his seventh appearance and fourth start...He tossed six scoreless innings May 3 in Memphis, but did not factor into the decision in the team's 1-0 win. He allowed six hits and one walk with five strikeouts before exiting the game in a scoreless tie...After starting the season in the bullpen, Moscoso has moved into the starting rotation. Over his first three starts, he's allowed just one run and 15 hits over 15.0 innings, with 15 strikeouts...Overall, Moscoso has racked up 25 K's in his first 21.0 IP...He signed with the Dodgers as a minor league free agent Jan. 28 after spending the entire 2017 season with Bravos de Leon of the Mexican League...Over five MLB seasons with Texas (2009-10), Oakland (2011), Colorado (2012) and San Francisco (2013), he has compiled a 4.28 ERA over 222.2 innings and 70 games (26 starts) with 166 strikeouts and 86 walks...The 2018 season marks his first playing in the U.S. since 2013, following a three-year run in Japan and last year in Mexico...This is Moscoso's second career stint with OKC after appearing in 35 games (33 starts) for the RedHawks between 2009-10...He originally signed with Detroit as an amateur free agent Jan. 16, 2003...Tonight is Moscoso's eighth career start against the Redbirds and second in the last week. Throughout his career, Moscoso has performed well against Memphis, tallying a 5-0 record and 1.80 ERA.

Against the Redbirds: 2018: 2-2 2017: 8-7 All-time: 170-153 At OKC: 95-63

After splitting the first series of the season between the teams April 30-May 3 in Memphis, the Dodgers have won or split nine straight series against the defending PCL champion Redbirds...The Dodgers outscored the Redbirds, 18-13, in the first series of the season, posting two shutout wins and losing the other two games by one-run margins...The Dodgers won the 2017 series, 8-7, and have won five consecutive season series against Memphis. OKC has not lost a season series to the Redbirds since 2011, and the Dodgers were the only team in the PCL last season to have winning record against the 91-win Redbirds...OKC went 4-4 against the Redbirds in OKC last season and has not posted a losing home record against the Redbirds at home in four straight seasons, going 17-14.

Out of the Gates: The Dodgers have won 22 of their first 29 games of 2018, matching the best overall record by an Oklahoma City team through 29 games since rejoining the PCL in 1998. The 2015 squad also went 22-7 to start the season, but then went on to lose four straight games...The Dodgers own the best winning percentage in the Minors (.759) and also pace the Minors with 22 wins this season.

Home Front: After starting the season 15-0 at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark for their best home start since the ballpark opened in 1998, the Dodgers lost their first home game of 2018 Monday. The team's previous best start was 5-0 in 2006...Of their 15 wins, the Dodgers have trailed at some point in nine of those games, including eight of the last 12, and have trailed in the eighth inning or later six times...The Dodgers have four walk-off wins this season, including three straight April 14-16 against New Orleans...At the plate, the Dodgers are batting .319 for the second-highest home batting average in Triple-A, only behind Colorado Springs (.341). OKC has outscored opponents, 100-46, in Bricktown and has outhit opponents, 172-116...Over their first 16 home games, the Dodgers have slashed .319/.395/.469. They have scored eight-plus runs in five games and collected 14 or more hits in four games...They've scored four or more runs in an inning eight times.

Mound Men: After allowing just four runs over the previous four games, the Dodgers pitching staff allowed five runs to Colorado Springs Monday, but still paces all of Triple-A with a 2.62 ERA this season. The four-run, five-hit second inning tied the most runs and hits allowed in an inning by OKC this season. In fact, the Dodgers hadn't even allowed as many as three runs in an inning since April 20 at Round Rock (15 games)...The Dodgers have allowed an opponent to tally 10 or more hits in a game just once in the last 18 games and have allowed a league-low 212 hits overall this season, allowing an average of 7.3 hits per game...Entering Monday, OKC opponents were 3-for-the-last-35 with runners in scoring position before the Sky Sox went 3-for-6. Even with that bump, opponents are batting just .188 (21x112) with RISP over the last 17 games

Rock Steady: Rocky Gale notched a game-high three hits Monday to match his season high and extend his hitting streak to nine games to tie for the longest hitting streak by a Dodger this season. He is batting .429 (15x35) during the streak with a double, triple, three homers, eight RBI and five multi-hit games. He has already surpassed his 2017 homer total (3) and has four homers through his first 19 games of 2018...Behind the plate, Gale leads the PCL with a 57.9 caught stealing percentage (11x19).

Dominant Donovan: Donovan Solano collected his team-leading 36th hit of the season Monday and has now hit safely in eight of his last nine games and in 20 of his 25 total games this season. His .371 average (36x97) ranks third-highest in the PCL. The shortstop is batting .400 (34x85) over last 21 outings.

Around the Horn: Reliever Pat Venditte has put together eight straight scoreless relief outings totaling 11.1 innings, allowing four hits and one walk with 14 strikeouts. Opponents have gone 4-for-41 (.098) during the stretch...Jake Peter is on a season-best five-game hitting streak, going 7-for-20. He's picked up four RBI in his last three games after notching just five RBI over his first 23 games...Including yesterday, six of the team's seven losses this season have been by one or two runs.
