May the Power be with you: After hitting just nine home runs in 24 games in the month of April, the Sounds have already hit eight in just six games in the month of May. The eight homers is tied for fourth-most in the PCL. Nashville's slugging in the month of May is .457, as compared to .329 in April.

Error Free is the way to Be: Nashville's defense has gone 51.0 innings since its last error. The defense has been sound defensively since Franklin Barreto's first inning error on May 2 in Colorado Springs. Entering the April 30 game at Colorado Springs, the Sounds' .967 fielding percentage was last in the Pacific Coast League. With just one error over the last seven games, the fielding percentage has gone up to .974 - 14th-best in the league.
