Today's Game: The Oklahoma City Dodgers and Nashville Sounds continue their series with a doubleheader starting at 4:35 p.m. at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Monday's series opener was postponed due to unplayable field conditions, and the game will be made up today. The teams are scheduled to play two seven-inning games with the second game following 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.

Last Game: Jorge Mateo's RBI triple in the top of the ninth inning broke a tie and pushed Nashville to a 5-4 win against the Dodgers Tuesday night at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. The Dodgers took the an early lead in the second inning on RBI singles by Kyle Garlick and Angelo Mora to give OKC a 2-0 edge. After being held to no runs and one hit through four innings, Nashville scored four runs on four hits in the fifth inning to go in front. The Sounds' got on the scoreboard with a one-out RBI single by Mateo to cut the Dodgers' lead to 2-1. Melvin Mercedes and Nick Martini followed with back-to-back RBI triples to give the Sounds a 3-2 lead. Ramon Laureano's RBI groundout pushed Nashville's lead to 4-2. The Dodgers tied the game in the seventh inning when Henry Ramos connected on a two-run homer out to left field. With one out in the ninth inning, Steve Lombardozzi singled before Mateo's game-deciding triple against Pat Venditte (3-2). Nashville reliever Dean Kiekhefer (5-0) earned the win after retiring all four batters he faced. Bobby Wahl notched the final two outs for his eighth save of the season.

Today's Probable Pitchers: Staff leader Manny Bañuelos (8-3) makes his team-leading 14th start of the season in Game 1...He picked up his fourth win in as many starts June 21 in Omaha. He pitched 6.0 scoreless innings for the second straight game, allowing five hits and two walks with nine strikeouts in the Dodgers' 7-1 victory at Werner Park...Bañuelos currently paces the PCL with 86 strikeouts, while his 2.88 ERA ranks fourth in the league and his 1.21 WHIP is fifth. He is also posting 10.64 strikeouts per nine innings - most among PCL starting pitchers...In addition to starts and wins, he leads OKC in innings (72.0) and strikeouts (86)...Over his last five starts, Bañuelos has allowed two or fewer runs in each outing while posting a 1.52 ERA and holding opponents to a .202 batting average...He signed with the Dodgers as a free agent Nov. 14, 2017 after spending the 2017 season with Triple-A Salt Lake in the Los Angeles Angels organization...Tonight is his second start of the season against Nashville and third career appearance against the Sounds. He earned the win May 27 at First Tennessee Park, allowing one run and four hits over 5.0 innings. He allowed two walks with six strikeouts.

Drew Hutchison (1-1) makes his third appearance with OKC and first start of 2018 in Game 2...Hutchison has made two appearances out of the bullpen for OKC since signing with the Los Angeles Dodgers June 12...Over 5.0 innings, he has allowed five runs and nine hits and four walks with two K's...Hutchison took the loss in his last outing June 22 at Omaha, allowing four runs over 3.0 IP while piggybacking starter Guillermo Moscoso...He began the 2018 season with the Philadelphia Phillies and was designated for assignment May 31 before being outrighted to Triple-A Lehigh Valley June 5. He rejected the assignment and became a free agent...He made 11 relief appearances for the Phillies this season, going 1-1 with a 4.64 ERA over 21.2. IP and allowing 21 hits and 11 runs with 13 walks and 19 strikeouts...Hutchison has 93 MLB appearances (74 starts) with Toronto (76 games), Pittsburgh (6 games) and Philadelphia (11 games)...He was originally drafted by Toronto in the 15th round of the 2009 MLB Draft from Lakeland (Fla.) High School...Tonight is his first career appearance against Nashville.

Against the Sounds: 2018: 5-4 2017: 11-5 All-time: 181-148 At OKC: 95-69 The Dodgers and Sounds meet for their third series of the season and second in OKC...The Sounds and Dodgers split an abbreviated series at First Tennessee Park, 2-2, May 25-28, as the series finale was postponed to July 21 due to inclement weather. The teams combined to score just 18 runs total in the series...The Dodgers won the first series of the season between the teams May 17-20 in Bricktown, 3-1. The Dodgers outscored the Sounds, 32-15, and outhit Nashville, 50-30, in the four-game set, batting .350 as a team...In 2017, the Dodgers won the season series, 11-5, posting at least 10 wins against the Sounds for the third straight year. OKC outscored the Sounds, 85-54, and Dodgers pitchers racked up 158 strikeouts in 16 meetings for an average of 9.9 per game...Since 2015, the Dodgers are 37-20 against the Sounds, including 19-10 at home...Each of the last four meetings has been decided by one run, with the Sounds winning three of four.

Doubling Up: Today the Dodgers play their second doubleheader of the season, first of 2018 at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, and the first of two doubleheaders this week. The Dodgers opened the 2018 season with a doubleheader against the Iowa Cubs April 5 due to forecasted inclement weather later in the series and split the twin bill. OKC will play a doubleheader in New Orleans Saturday to make up a postponed game from April due to rain...The team still has five doubleheaders to play this season following today's double dip...Over the last seven doubleheaders, the team has a 0-3-4 record, going 1-6 in Game 1.

Home Cooking: The Dodgers suffered a third straight loss at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark last night, tying their longest losing streak of the season at home (May 7-9). OKC has not lost four consecutive home games since July 6-15, 2017...The Dodgers are 27-10 in OKC and have the second-best home winning percentage among full-season teams at .730. They have the third-most home wins behind Low-A Bowling Green (28-10) and Double-A Corpus Christi (28-12)...Over the three game skid, the team is batting .212 (21x99) with 10 runs. Prior to the recent struggles, the team was batting .315 and averaging 6.03 runs per game at home.

Along the Ríos Grande: Edwin Ríos doubled and scored a run last night to extend his current hitting streak to eight games - his longest hitting streak of the season. He has now hit safely in nine consecutive starts, going 13-for-33 (.394) with seven RBI and seven runs scored...Ríos has 26 hits through 21 games this month, which ranks second on the club. He paces the Dodgers with four homers and is tied for the team lead with 15 runs scored this month. He ranks second on the team with 16 RBI in June.

Give Me Some Mora: Angelo Mora went 1-for-3 Tuesday, and he has reached base eight times in his last four games. He ranks third in the PCL with a .486 OBP since rejoining OKC June 3...Mora has hit safely in 14 of 17 games with this month, batting .400 (24x60) with a team-best 18 RBI...In his first 14 games with OKC in April-May, Mora batted .189 with one walk. This month he's drawn 11 walks.

Around the Horn: The Dodgers have not lost three straight since May 12-14. They have avoided a three-game skid on four occasions since then...Through 22 games this month, relievers have thrown 104.1 innings compared to 93.2 innings thrown by starters. The rotation has combined for a 5.38 ERA, .290 BAA and 1.62 WHIP in June...Last night was the first time since May 28 at Nashville the Dodgers lost when scoring first (won nine straight)...Alex Verdugo has been held without a hit in back-to-back games for the first time this season (50 G).
