Today's Game: The Oklahoma City Dodgers try to take the edge in their series against the Salt Lake Bees during tonight's 7:05 p.m. game at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. They are currently tied for second place at the 50-game mark of the season.
Last Game: The OKC Dodgers scored one run in the bottom of the ninth inning and put the potential tying and winning runs on base, but lost to the Salt Lake Bees, 2-1, Friday night at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Salt Lake carried a 2-0 lead into the ninth inning. Drew Butera tripled with one out in the fifth inning and scored on a RBI single by Jack Mayfield. Mayfield then tripled in the seventh inning and later scored on a sacrifice fly by Jo Adell. The Dodgers were held scoreless through eight innings and only had two runners advance as far as second base. In the ninth, Luke Raley singled with one out and Andy Burns drew a four-pitch walk. Both runners advanced on a groundout, and with Raley at third base and DJ Peters at the plate, a wild pitch by Tim Peterson allowed Raley to score for the Dodgers' first run of the night. With Burns representing the tying run at third base, Peters drew a walk to put the potential winning run on, but Peterson struck out Matt Davidson to end the game.
