Today's Game: The Oklahoma City Dodgers return home to open a seven-game homestand with a three-game series against the Albuquerque Isotopes starting at 7:05 p.m. The Dodgers are coming off back-to-back losses for the first time since the PCL All-Star Break.
Last Game: Monday was a league-wide day off, but on Sunday, Nashville scored seven of its eight runs with two outs, sending the Dodgers to an 8-5 loss at First Tennessee Park. The Sounds jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the second inning. Jorge Mateo hit a RBI double to start the scoring. Later in the inning with runners at second and third base and two outs, J.P. Sportman hit a fly ball to shallow left field that went in and out of Andrew Toles' glove on a diving catch attempt and resulted in a two-run double. Nashville added two more runs with two outs in the third inning when Sheldon Neuse hit a two-run homer, extending the lead to 5-0. The Dodgers went deep in the fourth when Kyle Farmer hit a solo blast to left field. OKC got back within two runs in the fifth inning. A RBI groundout by Edwin RÃ-os and a sacrifice fly by Farmer cut Nashville's lead to 5-3. In the bottom of the inning, Neuse came through with another big hit, delivering a two-run double with two outs to push the advantage back to four runs. The Dodgers again battled back to trim the deficit to two. Connor Joe hit a solo home run in the sixth inning, and a sacrifice fly by RÃ-os in the seventh made it a 7-5 game. But the Sounds tallied one more two-out run in the bottom of the inning, this time coming on a bloop RBI single by Anthony Garcia. Nashville starting pitcher James Naile (6-9) allowed five runs (three earned) and nine hits, with two walks and two strikeouts over 6.1 innings. Dodgers starting pitcher Manny Bañuelos (8-5) surrendered a season-high seven runs on six hits. He walked three and struck out eight.
