
Dodgers Win Series Opener, 3-1

Oklahoma City - The Oklahoma City Dodgers scored three runs in the sixth inning as they came back to defeat the Albuquerque Isotopes, 3-1, Tuesday night in the series opener between the teams at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
The Dodgers opened a seven-game homestand in front of a crowd of 4,345 and picked up the win after suffering back-to-back losses for the first time following the PCL All-Star Break.
The Isotopes (49-53) quickly grabbed the game's first lead in the first inning when Ryan McMahon hit a RBI single to give Albuquerque a 1-0 edge.
Albuquerque starting pitcher Jeff Hoffman held the Dodgers without a hit until Andrew Toles connected on a one-out single into left field in the bottom of the fourth inning.
The Dodgers (55-44) later took the lead in the sixth inning.
Henry Ramos led off with a walk for the Dodgers and advanced to third base when Tim Locastro followed with a single into right field.
Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig, who began a Major League rehab assignment with OKC Tuesday, came up to bat next and hit a sacrifice fly to center field to score Ramos and tie the game, 1-1.
Puig finished the night 0-for-2, grounding out twice before collecting a RBI on the sacrifice fly in the sixth.
Still in the sixth inning, Locastro advanced to third base on a one-out single by Toles before scoring on a RBI groundout by Donovan Solano to give the Dodgers a 2-1 advantage. Toles led the Dodgers with two of the team's five hits, as Albuquerque outhit OKC, 8-5.
Kyle Farmer's RBI single into right field with two outs later the inning brought home Toles for a 3-1 lead.
After allowing a run in the first inning, Dodgers starting pitcher Logan Bawcom held the Isotopes scoreless over the next four frames and four relievers followed with four scoreless innings to close the game.
OKC reliever Edward Paredes (3-1) allowed one hit in a scoreless sixth inning with one strikeout to record the win. Brian Schlitter closed out the game to record his 14th save with Oklahoma City this season.
Hoffman (4-5) was charged with the loss for the Isotopes, allowing three runs on four hits over 5.2 innings with one walk and four strikeouts.
The Dodgers and Isotopes continue their series at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
