Today's Game: The OKC Dodgers look to take the edge in their season-opening road series against the Nashville Sounds with Game 3 at 6:35 p.m. tonight at First Tennessee Park. After signing as a free agent Wednesday, pitcher Sam LeCure will start and make his team and organizational debut.

Last Game: Renato Nunez lined a RBI triple in the bottom of the 11th inning to score the winning run, giving the Sounds a 2-1 victory over the Dodgers Friday at First Tennessee Park. Max Muncy led off the bottom of the 11th with a single. Nunez stepped up next and drove an 0-1 pitch from Grant Dayton (0-1) to the right-center field fence to score Muncy and give the Sounds their first victory of the season. The Dodgers forced extra innings thanks to an opposite field home run by rehabbing L.A. Dodgers catcher Yasmani Grandal that tied the game, 1-1, in the top of the ninth inning. Matt Olson gave the Sounds a 1-0 lead with a RBI double in the first inning. Making his first Triple-A start, OKC Dodgers pitcher Jharel Cotton turned in a solid effort, allowing one run and five hits over 5.2 innings. He struck out five and did not allow a walk. Sounds reliever Andrew Triggs (1-0) picked up the win after tossing a scoreless 11th inning. He struck out two of the four batters he faced.

Today's Probable Pitcher: Sam LeCure makes his first start of 2016 after signing a minor league contract with the Dodgers April 6...LeCure spent Spring Training with Arizona, appearing in eight games before being released March 28...LeCure spent the majority of the 2015 season in the Reds organization with Triple-A Louisville, going 5-4 with a 5.25 ERA in 41 relief appearances...He pitched the final 2.0 innings of the first nine-inning no-hitter in Louisville history on July 12 at Toledo, recording four strikeouts...The Reds selected his contract Aug. 19, 2015 and he made 19 relief appearances, going 0-2 with a 3.15 ERA in 20.0 IP with 15 Ks...LeCure made his ML debut in 2010 with the Reds and has appeared in 250 ML games over six seasons, compiling a 3.51 ERA...He is a veteran of eight minor league seasons (174 games) with a 3.87 ERA...Tonight marks his PCL debut and the first time he's started since April 27, 2011 for Cincinnati at Milwaukee.

Against the Sounds: 2016: 1-1 2015: 11-5 All-time: 156-134 In NAS: 73-74

The Dodgers won the 2015 season series between the teams and took 10 of the first 12 meetings...The Dodgers outscored the Sounds, 71-59, last season, but Nashville collected one more hit (130-129)...Austin Barnes paced the Dodgers with 16 hits in 13 games against Nashville, while infielder Buck Britton collected 10 RBI...Jason Pridie racked up a team-leading 18 hits for the Sounds against OKC, including three home runs and nine RBI...The Dodgers are 5-5 all-time at First Tennessee Park, but have lost five of the last seven meetings.

Firing Out of the Gates: In 19-plus innings to start the season, the Dodgers pitching staff has allowed just two runs and 12 hits. Every other team in the PCL has allowed at least five runs so far...Starters Zach Lee (Thursday) and Jharel Cotton (Friday) combined to hold Nashville to one run and eight hits over 11.2 innings with seven strikeouts and no walks...In 10 all-time games at First Tennesee Park, the Dodgers have surrendered two or fewer runs six times.

Comings and Goings: Today OKC Dodgers infielder Micah Johnson was recalled to Los Angeles and pitcher Carlos Frias was placed on the DL with an oblique injury. Infielder Drew Maggi has been added to the OKC roster from Double-A Tulsa, and pitcher Johan Diaz will also join the team from extended spring training...Johnson was recalled to replace Carl Crawford, who today became the 11th player to be placed on the Los Angeles Dodgers Disabled List. With Johnson's absence, there are currently no position players on the OKC Dodgers roster who are also members of the L.A. Dodgers 40-man roster.

On the Mend: Through the first two games of his rehab assignment, Los Angeles Dodgers catcher Yasmani Grandal is 1-for-5 with a home run, two RBI, and two walks. He is currently recovering from a right forearm injury sustained during spring training. After catching the first two games, Grandal will serve as the team's designated hitter tonight...Grandal was a NL All-Star in 2015 during his first campaign with the Dodgers, setting career highs with 16 homers and 65 walks.

Power Hour: The Dodgers have hit a home run in each of their first two games of the season, marking the first time OKC has done that since 2012. OKC last collected at least one home run in each of their first three games of a season in 2006 when they homered in four-straight games to open the schedule.

Offensive Lull: Through the first two games of the season, the Dodgers are batting just .145 (10x69), lowest in the league...The Dodgers' offense really struggled Friday, going a collective 3-for-35 and notching just one hit over the final 10 innings. OKC did not put a runner scoring position after the first inning and put just three men on base overall following the first inning. The Nashville pitching staff retired 32 of the last 36 Dodgers that came to the plate and held OKC hitless over the Dodgers' final eight at-bats with a runner on base. The four through nine hitters in the Dodgers lineup combined to go 0-for-23 with one walk and nine strikeouts. As a team, the Dodgers struck out 15 times last night and 25 times through the first two games (most in PCL).

RISPy Business: Through the first two games, both the Dodgers and Sounds are each just 1-for-12 with runners in scoring position.

Splitsville: With last night's loss, OKC has now gone 1-1 through the first two games of a season in 10 consecutive seasons.

Early Exit: After arguing a called third strike in the 10th inning last night, Corey Brown became the first OKC Dodger to be ejected from a game this season. Last season four players were ejected throughout the season and the first did not come until May 27, when Yasmani Grandal was ejected during a game in Salt Lake while on rehab assignment.

Sooner Square Off: Tonight the Dodgers are set to face Nashville starting pitcher Dillon Overton. The lefty is from Weatherford, Okla., located 70 miles west of Oklahoma City. Overton went on to have a stellar three-year career at the University of Oklahoma and was selected by Oakland in the second round of the 2013 draft.
