New Orleans Baby Cakes News Release
Papillion, NE - Cody Decker blasted a pair of home runs and the Omaha Storm Chasers defeated the New Orleans Zephyrs 11-8 on Saturday afternoon at Werner Park.
The Storm Chasers and Zephyrs jumped out to a quick start on a cold and windy afternoon, each team scored a pair of runs in the first inning. Dan Black led off the second inning with a solo home run to left field to give the Zephyrs a 3-2 lead. Omaha sent nine batters to the plate in the second, scoring four runs including the first of two homers on the day for Decker.
Dusty Coleman drilled a three run home run in the third inning and Chasers built their lead to 9-4.

Omaha leads the series two games to one.
