Fat Tuesday: The Tulsa Oilers host the Colorado Eagles on Tuesday in a Mardi Gras celebration. The Oilers will be celebrating Mardi Gras, giving beads out to fans and it's also $2 Tuesday. That is $2 admission to college students with college ID and beer and soft drinks for $2. The Oilers will then head south to the border with a Friday night game at Rio Grande Valley at 7:35 and Saturday visit Laredo at 7:30 p.m. All three games can be heard on www.tulsaoilers.com.

Road Recap: The Oilers finished a four game road trip, playing the final three last week. Icy conditions forced Tuesday's game to be played Thursday in Oklahoma City, with the Oilers suffering their second shutout of the season, 6-0. Friday the Oilers saw a frantic finish come up short in a 2-1 loss at Amarillo, and Saturday the Oielrs picked up a point in a 5-4 overtime loss at Texas.

One & Only: Bobby Reed, who is the only Oiler player to have played in every game this season, also became the only CHL player this season to score shorthanded against Texas.

Not Many: Home games coming up for the Oilers. Tuesday's game is one of only two home games in a 10 game stretch. Between January 24^th and February 14^th the Oilers will play eight road games and only two home games (February 3^rd and February 10^th ).

Everyone In: The Oilers had five goals last week, from five different players. Lucas Labelle, Jeff Christian, Jake Riddle, Reed and Brendon Hodge all scored for the Oilers.
