Kinnunen Recalled by San Antonio, Brahms Set Record

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas (February 2)- The Texas Brahmas of the Central Hockey League have announced defenseman Justin Kinnunen has been recalled by the San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League (AHL) today.

Kinnunen, a two-year CHL All-Star, has 28 points (12 G, 16 A) in 38 games for Texas this season. The Negaunee, MI native is a +15 and recorded the Brahmas first hat trick of the season January 3rd at Laredo.

This is Kinnunen's second call-up by San Antonio, on January 17th he registered +1 in his first and only game in a Rampage jersey. The Rampage play Wednesday night on the road to play the Binghamton Senators.

On Saturday, when Texas hosted the Tulsa Oilers, the Brahmas set a new franchise record for home game winning streak with their 8th consecutive victory. The previous record was seven, set in 1997.
