Long Stand: The Tulsa Oilers begin a seven game homestand, their longest of the season, with three games this week. The Oilers host the Odessa Jackalopes on Tuesday at 7:05 p.m.; Oklahoma City Blazers Friday at 7:35 p.m.; and Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs Saturday at 7:35 p.m.

1st Shootout: The Oilers had their first overtime game in splitting two contests last week. They lost 4-0 to the Rocky Mountain Rage on Friday, then defeated the Odessa Jackalopes 3-2 in a shootout Saturday. Saturday's game was the first in the Oilers 13 games this season that went into overtime. Lucas Burnett scored the winning goal as the Oilers seventh shooter in the shootout and goaltender Clint Chalmers stopped six of the seven shootout attempts he faced.

Dr. Dr.: Or nurse, nurse and anyone else working in the health care field. This weekend the Oilers salute employees of the health care industry with a $5 discount on advance ticket purchases.

A First: Defenseman Andrew Lackner opened the scoring in Saturday's win at Odessa. Not only was it the first goal of the game, it was Lackner's first goal of the season, and first goal as an Oiler.

No Goody: Mat Goody will miss Tuesday's and Friday's games. He will be finishing serving a three game CHL suspension.

Lucky 7: Not only are the Oilers starting a seven game homestand, Paul Kelly scored his team leading seventh goal of the season Saturday night in Odessa.
