WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
n Dennis Maxwell's empty-netter at Corpus Christi on Nov. 24 was his second goal of the night and 200th (regular season) of his career.
n Maxwell has points (5-10-15) in seven consecutive games, one of the longest streaks in team history. Trevor Weisgerber had a team-record seven-game streak in 2005-06. That record was eclipsed by Rob Voltera last season; he strung together points (8-11-20) in 10 straight games.
n Voltera has points in six of his last seven games (4-9-13).
n Starting with last Friday's game, the Bees play 10 of 13 games on the road. The team plays at home on Dec. 2 (Youngstown) and Dec. 7 (Arizona) and does not play at the Hive again until Dec. 28 (Corpus Christi). The Bees travel to Austin on Dec. 8, return home and then pack for nearly two weeks on the bus.
n The Killer Bees announced on Nov. 22 that, at his request, LW David Masse has been placed on team suspension to tend to family issues in Quebec. "We support David in this difficult time and wish him the best," said Killer Bees Head Coach Paul Fixter. "David's presence will be missed in the lineup, but as professionals we move forward with our season."
n Upcoming Player Milestones - 400th game - Jeremy Van Hoof (3 needed)
n The Bees dealt D Mike Looby to Tulsa on Nov. 14 in exchange for LW Lance Herauf. Herauf played 10 games for the Oilers this season and posted two goals and an assist. Last season with New Mexico, he had 58 points (20-38-58) and finished with a plus-21 rating. A total of 14 of his points (2-12-14) came via the power play. The 5-foot-9, 170-pound Balgonie, Saskatchewan, native was one of six finalists for the CHL Rookie of the Year award last season.
n The Bees went 2-1-1 in October. All time in October they've posted a 13-5-3 (3 SOL) record with an 8-3-1 record at home.
n Historically in November, the Bees are 17-27-3 (0 SOL) all time including marks of 9-15-3 at home and 8-12-0 on the road. So far this year they are 5-5-1.
n Rio's all time record stands at 119-121-27 (16 SOL) (267 games played).
