Tulsa Oilers News Release

The Tulsa Oilers have signed forward Jordan Roach, the team announced today.

Roach, 22, played 29 games with the Bakersfield Condors of the West Coast Hockey League last season, with 1 goal and 141 penalty minutes. He is expected to fill the enforcer's role vacated by Mark Scott, who left the team earlier this season.

The 6-3, 225-pound native of North Battleford, Saskatchewan, will be in the lineup this weekend as the Oilers play in New Mexico and Amarillo. To make room for Roach, Tulsa waived forward Marian Koleda.

The Tulsa Oilers remain on the road this weekend, playing in New Mexico tonight, and then in Amarillo tomorrow. The Oilers return to home ice on Friday, January 30th, hosting the Memphis RiverKings. Individual game tickets can be purchased at the Oilers ticket office, at Carson Attractions, in the Tulsa Convention Center, plus the Drug Mart locations in Tulsa, Owasso, and Broken Arrow.

Phone orders for game tickets can be made by calling 918-584-2000 or 918-632-7825.
