Tulsa Oilers News Release
In an effort to reduce long lines at the box office, the Tulsa Oilers are encouraging fans to act quickly on QuikTrip Tuesdays. "We had a great turnout for our first Tuesday night game (a crowd of 4,396 attended the Oilers game against Amarillo) thanks to our partnership with QuikTrip," Oilers general manager Corey MacIntyre said. "The box office staff did a great job accommodating all the fans. We just want to let people know they can exchange their QuikTrip vouchers at our office, or at the box office in advance of the game. We encourage everyone to do that to reduce the lines and waiting on game night."
This season the Oilers have teamed with QuikTrip to present QuikTrip Tuesdays. Fans can stop by any area QuikTrip store and receive a voucher good for a $10 or a $12 ticket. The vouchers can also be upgraded to other seats. Vouchers can be redeemed at the Oilers office (9128 E. 46th Street) or the Carson Attractions box office located in the Tulsa Convention Center during regular business hours. The six remaining QuikTrip Tuesdays are December 6 (Colorado); December 27 (Fort Worth); January 31 (Corpus Christi); February 7 (Youngstown); February 21 (Oklahoma City); and March 14 (Colroado). All Tuesday night games start at 7 p.m.
The Oilers begin a four game road trip this weekend in Colorado against the Eagles Friday and Saturday. Both games begin at 8:05 p.m. central time, and can be heard on KMMY FM 97.1. The Oilers next home game is Sunday November 27 against Colorado at 2 p.m. Oilers season ticket and individual game ticket information is available by calling the Oilers office at (918) 632-7825.
