*Rushin' In:* The Tulsa Oilers host the expansion Rapid City Rush tonight, in the Rush's first ever visit to Tulsa. The two teams play here tomorrow night as well.

*Records: *Oilers are 13-27-8 with 34 points in fourth place in the Northeast Division.

Rapid City is 16-25-8 for 40 points in third place in the Northwest Division.

*Season Series: *This is the third of four meetings between these two teams. They split a pair of games in Rapid City to start the 2009 portion of the season. Rapid City won 4-2 on January 2^nd . The Oilers responded with a 3-2 win the next night.

* *

*Recent Action: *The Oilers are coming off a 6-0 win at Wichita on Saturday. Davis Parley stopped all 25 shots he faced, giving the Oilers their first shutout in 98 games, dating back to November 27, 2007 (4-0 over Odessa). Rapid City handed Colorado its third straight defeat, (longest losing streak of the season) with a 4-3 win on Tuesday.

*New Faces*: Four players who played in the Oilers' recent two game road swing to Bossier-Shreveport and Wichita will be playing in their first home game tonight. They are #10 Augie DiMarzo, #16 Jason Weitzel; #27 Matt Smyth and #28 Matt Maccarone.

*Piling Up:* For the first time this season, the Oilers have earned points in three straight games. They are 1-0-2 in their last three games.

*Spreading Out:* In that same three game stretch, the Oilers have been spreading out their scoring. In a 5-4 shootout loss to Wichita 10 players had points, in a 4-3 shootout loss to Bossier-Shreveport seven players had points and in the 6-0 win over Wichita, nine players figured in the scoring.

*Moving Up:* Jeff Christian earned Oakley/CHL Player of the Week honors last week with his three goals and five assists, highlighted by a five point night (2G, 3A) at Wichita. His linemates, Jason Weitzel (1G, 3A) and Jake Riddle (1G, 1A) also had multiple point games at Wichita. Christian, leads the Oilers in scoring and is now tied for third in the league with 24 goals and 40 assists for 64 points.

*Next Up: *The Oilers and Rush won't wait long to see each other again. They play here tomorrow night at 7:35 p.m. It repeats a back to back series the two teams played in Rapid City January 2^nd and 3^rd .
