Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees News Release

HIDALGO, TEXAS --- The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees of the Central Hockey League (CHL) today announced that left wing Trevor Weisgerber has been activated from the injured reserve list and center Daryl Moore has been waived.

Weisgerber was placed on the injured reserve list following the game at Wichita on Nov. 29 after taking a high hit that knocked him unconscious. At the time of his injury, Weisgerber led the team in scoring and had collected a point in all but two games this year. He had five assists in his last three games. Weisgerber, one of three veterans on the Killer Bees roster, has missed 34 games.

Moore's 11 goals placed him sixth on the team while his 29 points put him sixth in that department. He has been a healthy scratch in two of the team's last eight games and has collected just two points (1-1-2) in his last 14 appearances.

The Killer Bees begin a five-game home stand tonight vs. the New Mexico Scorpions at 7:30 p.m.
