*Oilers Host Champs:* The Tulsa Oilers begin the final week of the regular season hosting the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs, who have clinched the Governor's Cup trophy as regular season champions of the Central Hockey League.
*Records: *Oilers are 24-33-4 with 52 points in fourth place in the Northwest Division.
Bossier-Shreveport is 42-13-6 for 90 points in first place in the Northeast Division.
*Season Series: *This is the fifth meeting of the season between the two teams. Bossier-Shreveport has won the previous four, one of those in overtime. The most recent meeting was a 3-1 Bossier-Shreveport win on December 18^th .
*Recent Action: *The Oilers are coming off a weekend sweep in the state of Colorado. They beat the Colorado Eagles 4-3 on Saturday night, and defeated the Rocky Mountain Rage 3-2 on Sunday. Bossier-Shreveport lost 4-3 in a shootout Sunday at Mississippi.
*Road Warriors: *The two wins this weekend gave the Oilers 14 road wins on the season. They have the most road victories of any team in their division.
*Another 20 Club Member: *Right winger Kai Magnussen scored the game winning goal on Sunday, giving him 20 goals in his rookie campaign. He joins David Alexandre Beauregard, Warren McCutcheon, Paul Kelly, and Jeff Christian as members of the 20 goal club.
* *
*Blankety Blank:* While the Oilers have suffered two shutouts at the hands of the Mudbugs, they are hardly alone. Bossier-Shreveport has registered a league record 17 shutouts this season.
*Beau Knows: *How to score shorthanded. The Oilers' captain is tied for the league lead (with Mississippi's Ryan Campbell) with nine shorthanded goals. Beauregard leads the Oilers with 34 goals this season.
*Next Up: *The Oilers wrap up the home portion of the season on Friday, hosting the Rocky Mountain Rage at 7:35 p.m. Bossier-Shreveport hosts Texas on Friday.
