Tulsa Oilers News Release
Tulsa Oilers head coach Bruce Ramsay has announced the team has signed left wing Tom Fritsche to a standard Central Hockey League contract, and has waived forwards Jason Weeks and Chris Cloud.
The moves come as the Oielrs prepare for a weekend set of games at Colroado on Friday and at Rapid City Saturday. Both games start at 8:05 p.m. Central time and can be accessed via www.tulsaoilers.com and CHL TV.
Fritsche, 5-foot-11, 183 pounds has been with the Oilers, assigned by the Lake Erie Monsters of the American Hockey League. The standard CHL contract replaces the five game contract he had previously signed.
In eight games, Cloud had no points and 25 penalty minutes. Weeks had played in nine games and had one assist and six penalty minutes.
The Oilers next home game is Thursday Nov. 18 against the Allen Americans at 7:05 p.m. Season tickets for 2010-11 with plans for as low as $26 a month are now available by calling the Oilers office at 918-632-PUCK (7825). ### CHL Affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche (NHL) and Lake Erie Monsters (AHL)
