
Oil Kings to Host First Cartoon Festival on Saturday, October 26

(EDMONTON, AB) - The Edmonton Oil Kings will host their first-ever Cartoon Festival when they take on the Seattle Thunderbirds on Saturday, October 26 at 7:00 PM at Rogers Place.
Various popular childhood characters will be roaming the concourse throughout the night, and following the game cartoons - suited for all ages and generations - will play on the videoboard.
Cartoon Festival marks the second in a back-to-back for the Oil Kings at Rogers Place this weekend, as the team also hosts Central Division rival, the Medicine Hat Tigers, one night prior on Friday, October 25 at 7:00 PM MT.
On Friday, fans are encouraged to bring new and unworn socks to the game in support of Socktober and Operation Friendship Seniors Society for elderly in need in our community.
