Winnipeg Ice News Release
Winnipeg, MB - Local kids will have the unique opportunity to interview their favourite ICE players as part of the newly-launched ICE Kid Reporter presented by 680 CJOB.
This season, six episodes will be filmed, edited, produced and released on the Winnipeg ICE website along with all ICE social media channels. In addition, the initiative will be promoted and the episodes will be aired on 680 CJOB and Global News Winnipeg. In each episode, the kid reporter will chat with three Winnipeg ICE players.
"This is such a great initiative that allows local kids the opportunity to ask ICE players anything they want," said Kelly Moore, Sports Director with Global News Radio 680 CJOB. "We are pleased to support this initiative, which will hopefully showcase some future broadcasters!"
In addition, each ICE Kid Reporter applicant will receive a 25% off ticket voucher to a future Winnipeg ICE regular season game and will be entered to win a private one-hour ICE dressing room tour, meet n' greet and video game hang out with ICE players at the RINK Training Centre. This opportunity will be awarded to five families.
