
Oil Kings Support 'Ukrainian Hockey Week in Alberta'

(Edmonton, AB) - The Edmonton Oil Kings are proud to announce their participation in 'Ukrainian Hockey Week in Alberta' with their game on Thursday, January 11 against the Tri-City Americans.
Thursday's game will feature a ceremonial puck drop with leaders from several Ukrainian youth organizations in Edmonton.
In addition, the Oil Kings 50/50 and Chuck-A-Puck fundraisers will benefit the Ukrainian Canadian Congress-Alberta Provincial Council who are currently leading various resettlement initiatives for Ukrainian newcomers to Alberta.
"The Oil Kings are always so proud to support our City's proud Ukrainian population whenever we can," said Oil Kings Director of Business Operations Kevin Radomski. "Ukrainian Hockey Week in Alberta is such a great initiative and we're happy to be a part of it."
