
Oil Kings Announce 2018-19 Home Opener

(Edmonton, AB) - The Edmonton Oil Kings will open the 2018-19 Western Hockey League (WHL) season hosting their provincial rival, the Red Deer Rebels in their home opener at Rogers Place on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 7:00 PM MT. This will mark the first time, in five seasons that the Oil Kings have played their home opener on a Friday night.
