ICE Trade Russell to Spokane for Conditional Fifth Round Pick

Cranbrook, B.C. - The Kootenay ICE Hockey Club announced on Monday that it has traded 2000-born defenceman Bobby Russell to the Spokane Chiefs in exchange for a conditional fifth round draft pick in 2019.

Russell played 46 games with the ICE, netting one goal and adding six assists for seven points.

"We would like to thank Bobby for his efforts both on the ice and in the community during his time with the ICE," said Matt Cockell, President and General Manager. "We wish him all the best in Spokane."

The ICE selected Russell in the sixth round (123rd overall) in the 2015 WHL Bantam Draft.
