OGDEN - Gage Green went 4-for-5, scoring a season-high four runs including a solo home run, leading Ogden (20-9, 39-28) to a 10-5 win over Orem (13-16, 37-30) on Sunday afternoon.

The Raptors have won six straight games, ten of eleven, and are 19-4 since the All-Star break. The Owlz have now lost 11 of their last 14 games.

Green led off the bottom of the first inning with a single and scored on Jordan Paroubeck's first home run of the season - a 420-foot two-run shot to put Ogden ahead for good just two batters into the game. Green extended the lead to 3-0 on a 390-foot solo shot to lead off the bottom of the third. It was Green's fourth home run of the season, second of the series, and third against Orem this week. He also extended his season-long hitting streak to 13 games.

The Raptors and Owlz traded two-out, RBI singles in the fifth inning and Orem pulled to within a single run, 4-3, on Ranyelmy Alberto's RBI double in the sixth. Ogden put the game out of reach in the home half of the inning when Kelvin Ramos, Deion Ulmer, Green, and Paroubeck all recorded consecutive hits off of Luis Pena. All four scored in the inning to give the Raptors an 8-3 advantage. Paroubeck finished the game with a season-high three runs batted in.

Jared Foster connected on a two-run home run for the second consecutive night in the top of the seventh inning to cut Orem's deficit to three, 8-5. But Ogden responded yet again in the eighth with two runs, capped off by Scott De Jong's RBI single to score Green. Fittingly, Green made the final out in the top of the ninth inning to secure the 10-5 win.

Jose Santos made his first start of the season for the Raptors and did not allow a run through four innings. Wes Helsabeck (2-0) worked the fifth inning to earn the win. Owlz starter Jared Ruxer (0-3) gave up three runs in 3 2/3 innings to pick up the loss.

Ogden keeps pace in the Pioneer League South Division playoff race. Idaho Falls overcame a 6-3 deficit with nine runs in the sixth inning en route to a 16-7 win over Grand Junction. The Raptors and Chukars remain tied for first place with identical 20-9 records in the second half.

Ogden goes for the series sweep against Orem on Monday evening with first pitch slated for 6:30pm MT. Ogden's Jairo Pacheco (6-3, 4.23) and Orem's Jose Rodriguez (3-2, 4.31) will make their league-leading 14th starts in the finale.
