Please note the following Syracuse Mets roster moves:

-OF Matt Kemp promoted from Short-Season-A Brooklyn

-IF David Thompson transferred to Double-A Binghamton

Matt Kemp is a three-time National League All-Star and has played 14 season in the major leagues between the Los Angeles Dodgers, San Diego Padres, Atlanta Braves, and Cincinnati Reds. Kemp started this season with the Reds, was released on May 4th, and then signed a minor-league contract with the New York Mets on May 24th. Kemp played all of last season with the Los Angeles Dodgers, hitting .290 in 146 games with 21 home runs, 25 doubles, and 85 RBIs while earning a National League All-Star selection.
