Madison Capitols News Release

Madison traveled to Chicago on Friday night in hopes of snapping a four-game skid. Although a quick response to two Chicago goals to start the game was found by Ronan O'Donnell, the Capitols were unable to find the back of the net again in the contest and fell 4-1.

For O'Donnell, his first period goal was his second of the season. His first goal also came in Geneva against the Steel back in late December. Finn Brink picked up the lone assist on the goal.

Carsen Musser stopped 20/23 shots sent his way in goal on Friday night, which included a huge save in the third to keep Madison in the game at that time.

A late empty netter secured the victory for Chicago as all but two home teams in the USHL won on Friday night. The Steel now sit only one point behind Madison in the Eastern Conference standings.

The Capitols are back at it tomorrow night as someone's skid has to come to an end with the Green Bay Gamblers coming to town. The Gamblers enter Saturday night with a two-game losing streak of their own.

It's E-Sports Night presented by TDS at the arena, which will include a cool activation in the lobby where fans will get to game throughout the night. Tickets can be found at tickets.madcapshockey.com.
