NYTEX Shares Season Spirit With Pucks, Cans And Bears

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas (December 2)- The Brahmas holiday season begins in the form of free pucks, a canned food drive and teddy bears as they host the next four games at the NYTEX Sports Centre.
The first night of excitement heads up this Friday on Puck Night, as they go up against their first encounter of the season against the Corpus Christi Ice Rays at 7:05 PM. Texas will get into the season of giving by presenting the first 1000 fans at the NYTEX Sports Centre a free puck courtesy of Capital One Bank.
On Saturday the I-20 rivalry between the Brahmas and the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs continues as they match up for the third time this year; the puck is scheduled to drop at 7:05 PM. The Texas Brahmas are 1-1 against the Mudbugs, where A.J. Gale and Jason Deitsch lead all scorers with four points against the 'Bugs'. The Brahmas win was earned by Joe Palmer as he guarded the net for Texas on October 30.
The Brahmas partner up with the Boozefighters Motorcycle Club next week on Wednesday as they arrange a canned food drive at NYTEX. To help promote the canned food drive, the Brahmas are giving away buy one get one free coupons for bringing in two cans. All canned food donations are to be dropped off at a display table in the lobby before and during the game. The evening will also be for hockey as our new cross town opponents, the Allen Americans, come to the NYTEX Sports Centre to face off at 7:05 PM.
On Friday, December 11, the Brahmas host their annual Teddy Bear toss as they host the Arizona Sundogs at 7:05 PM. Fans are encouraged to bring teddy bears to the game to throw onto the ice following the Brahmas first goal. All stuffed animals will be collected and donated to the Community Enrichment center of North Richland Hills. Fans bringing teddy bears can also receive a discount coupon to an upcoming Brahmas game.
