Mid-South Snow Alert
December 3, 2009 - Central Hockey League (CHL)
Mississippi RiverKings News Release
(Southaven, MS) --- Here's a weather update from your Mid-South weather center.
There's a good chance of snow in downtown Memphis during the noon hour tomorrow (Friday).
Specifically, look for snow appearing in front of the Hooter's Restaurant at 250 Peabody Place around 12:30 PM.
You might even see a Mississippi RiverKings hockey player and a mascot frolicking in the white stuff and serving as willing photographic subjects.
For a unique Christmas photo opportunity or just to see what the stuff looks and feels like, check out the snow in front of the Hooter's Restaurant downtown tomorrow (Friday) afternoon.
But don't be late. You know how long snow lasts in the Mid-South.
Your Mississippi RiverKings take on the Colorado Eagles Friday night at 7:05 PM at the Ice Palace in Southaven off the I-55 Church Road exit. It's Teddy Bear Toss night and your chance to support the Samaritans and Entergy's "Power to Care" program.
A RiverKings flex-pack of tickets makes a great Christmas present. For more ticket information, call the RiverKings at 662-342-1755 or go online to www.riverkings.com today!
