November Full of Fun at Scorpions' Games

[RIO RANCHO, N.M.]-November is packed full of fun at the Santa Ana Star Center for Scorpions' games. The schedule features six chances to see your Scorps in action.

This past Wednesday was the first "Wild Wednesday" of the season. Every Wednesday home game will have a different themed ticket special. When the Scorpions hosted Corpus Christi on the 5th, wearing your team's favorite retro jersey got you a Rio Zone ticket for only $5.

On Friday, November 14th, come celebrate Stanley's birthday. Our lovable green buddy will be seven years old, and many of his friends will be in attendance. Children of all ages will enjoy a night of mascot fun. In addition, the Albuquerque Rescue Mission is holding a food and blanket drive. Call Adam at the Scorpions' office to hear more about how you can help the drive.

The second "Wild Wednesday" is November 19th when Colorado visits New Mexico. Show your student ID at the box office and get a $5 ticket.

In addition, the Boston Culinary Group is selling soda for only $1 during the game. Come thirsty as fans can quench their thirst with great Coca-Cola products for only a buck!

Rounding out the month will be games Friday the 21st and Saturday the 22nd versus Arizona. The rivals will be in town in what is sure to be a great pair of games.

Saturday, is the annual "Salute to the Military" featuring a post-game jersey auction. All active and retired military personal get in for only $10 when purchasing their tickets ahead of time. Call the Scorps' office at 505-881-PUCK (7825) to reserve your seat for patriotic this event.

Following the game, the jerseys worn for this special game will be auctioned off live in the arena. The net proceeds will benefit the ALS Association of New Mexico and the Rob Guinn Foundation.
