Norfolk Admirals News Release
NORFOLK, VA - Admirals General Manager Al MacIsaac announced today that the team has signed forward Gregg Johnson to a Professional Tryout Contract (PTO).
Johnson, 24, is a 5'11", 191 lb. center from Windsor, Connecticut. He had been playing with the Trenton Titans (ECHL) where he had 11 goals and 16 assists for 27 points and 6 penalty minutes in 21 games.
Johnson appeared in one game earlier this season for the Admirals, going scoreless with no penalty minutes on October 28 versus the Hartford Wolf Pack. He attended Admirals training camp earlier this fall.
