Norfolk Signs Bellefeuille

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The Norfolk Admirals announced today that they have signed center Blake Bellefeuille to a professional tryout (PTO). His signing comes on the heels of center Igor Korolev's recall to the Chicago Blackhawks.

Bellefeuille started the season on a PTO with the Providence Bruins (AHL) where he posted one goal (one point) and two penalty minutes in seven games. He previously played for the Syracuse Crunch (AHL) for the past three seasons, registering 28+43=72 points and 85 PIM in 188 contests. The former Boston College Golden Eagle (Hockey East) has also appeared in five games with the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets, recording an assist (one point).
