OMAHA, NE - If you know of anybody who has recently experienced a financial hardship, a personal loss, or another devastating circumstance that has affected their lives, the Omaha Royals want to hear from you.
This season, the Royals, KPTM Fox 42 and The Reader are proud to introduce the inaugural Season Ticket Grant program. If you know of a deserving family member or friend who could use an escape from daily life and become part of the Royals family through 2008 season tickets, please nominate that person to the Royals in writing.
The nomination letter should be 250 words or less and should indicate why you are nominating the person and how they would benefit from a Royals season ticket package. Those who are awarded a season ticket grant will receive all incentives, promotions, parties and perks extended to our valued season ticket holders.
In your nomination letter, please include your name, address and phone number, as well as the name, address, phone number and number of tickets requested for the person you are nominating. The letters are due by April 7th. Those receiving the grant will be notified by April 20th.

"We want to expand on the tradition of the Royals giving back to the community," said Royals Assistant General Manager/Director of Ticket Operations Eric Leach. "We hope that the Royals will provide a positive impact to those families who'll receive season tickets through this new, annual program."
