MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The Biscuits (66-72) scored three runs in the ninth and brought the winning run to the plate but fell to the Jackson Generals (61-76) 4-3 Saturday night at Riverwalk Stadium.

The Biscuits came into the ninth inning trailing 4-0 and with only three hits. Mayckol Guaipe walked Richie Shaffer to start the inning. Luke Maile flied out but a ground out of Alejandro Segovia moved Shaffer to second base. With one strike left, Jeff Malm singled into right and scored Shaffer to put the Biscuits on the board. Willie Argo followed with a two-run double to center to make it a one-run game. Guaipe then got Leonardo Reginnato to fly out to end the game.

Tyler Olson (10-7) was dominant at the start of the game. The lefty was perfect through four innings until Maile doubled with one out in the fifth. In the seven inning, Olson wiggled out of a bases-loaded jam to keep the Biscuits scoreless. Olson went seven innings, only allowed two hits and struck out three for his tenth win of the season.

Kevin Rivers started the Generals' scoring with a two-run double in the second inning off of Albert Suarez (3-6). D.J. Peterson launched a long home run in the fifth inning to give the Generals a 3-0 lead. Tyler Smith tripled and eventually scored an insurance run in the seventh inning.

Game four of the series is Sunday evening at 5:35. LH Jimmy Patterson is on the hill for the Biscuits while the Generals will have RH Stephen Landazuri on the mound.
