Nick Ritchie Returns to Petes Lineup

(Peterborough, ON, September 29, 2014)- The Peterborough Petes are excited to announce that winger Nick Ritchie has returned to Peterborough to join the Petes roster after attending training camp with the NHL's Anaheim Ducks. He will suit up for the Petes this Thursday at home against the Belleville Bulls.

Ritchie, a 6'3", 229lbs winger from Orangeville, was Anaheim's first round, 10th overall pick in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. In three pre-season games with the Ducks, he registered 4 penalty minutes and an even plus/minus rating averaging a time-on-ice of 14:50 with 3 shots and 10 hits before being reassigned this afternoon.

In 165 career OHL regular season games, Ritchie has logged 73 goals, 75 assists, 148 points and 246 penalty minutes. Teammates Dominik Masin (Tampa Bay), Eric Cornel (Buffalo), Connor Boland (Edmonton), and Greg Betzold (St. Louis) each returned from NHL Training Camps earlier this month.

Tickets are still available for this Thursday's game against the Bulls.
